Enjoy days out in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, within easy reach are Hawes, Mallam Cove, Aysgarth Falls, Ingleborough Caves, to name just a few.

 Or closer to home, the Stunning Eden Valley, explore this hidden gem straight from the door away from the crowds, there's so much to see and do.

 

Lowther Castle is well worth a visit, this magnificent castle and gardens has something for everyone, a fabulous cafe for coffee or lunch while the children enjoy the fabulous adventure playground.
 

For a rainy day out, we don't think you can beat the Rheged Entertainment Centre for the whole family, cinema, restaurants, shops and children's play area, plus many events throughout the year.

Kirkby Stephen is our little local town, about 5 miles away, lots of independent shops, cafes, pubs and a mini supermarket for all those forgotten essentials. 

For cheese lovers, the Wensleydale Creamery is a must! In the town of Hawes, watch the cheeses being made then sample them in the tasting room.  

You don't need to be a train enthusiast to enjoy a day out on England's most scenic railway, the views are breath-taking, you'll pass over the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, the market town of Settle is a good spot for a wander round and refreshments.
